Soul Contract
This site has no accounts, no cookies, no ads and no newsletter. Here is everything it does with data, in full.
Stays on your device
- Which floors you have already been assigned, so the elevator can tell you how many of the building you have seen.
- How you pleaded on this week’s charge, so it can show you your answer if you come back.
- Whether you switched the lobby music off.
- How many times you have been sent up, which the front desk uses to be short with you about it.
- The last floor you landed on, for this tab only, so you do not get it twice running.
All of it lives in your browser’s own storage. None of it leaves your device and we cannot read it. It stays until you clear your browser data, which erases it.
Sent to us
- Two numbers a week. When you plead on the weekly charge, a counter goes up by one — how many said “I did” and how many said “I didn’t”. That is the whole record. It has no identifier attached and cannot be traced to anyone.
- Anonymous page counts via Cloudflare Web Analytics, when it is switched on: page views, referrers and load speed. Cookieless, with no fingerprinting and no third-party tracking. When it is off, the page carries no beacon at all. Any tracker blocker, or your browser’s own privacy settings, will stop it; nothing on the site changes.
The weekly counters are kept indefinitely, as trivia. If the plea button is hammered, Cloudflare checks the request’s address against a rate limit at the edge and says “slow down”; that check is momentary and nothing is stored.
Who runs it, and on what
Willigotohell is a Fondoabsurdo site. Privacy questions go to info@fondoabsurdo.com.
The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles requests on our behalf. Cloudflare keeps short technical logs of each request (things like the address and browser it came from) for a few days, for reliability and abuse prevention, then deletes them. We never see or keep those ourselves. Cloudflare’s own terms for that are at cloudflare.com/trust-hub/gdpr.
Never sent to us
When you send someone a floor, the line you write is carried in the part
of the link after the #. Browsers never transmit that part to
a server, by design. So what you write is not merely unstored — it
never reaches us at all. There is no database of sent summonses, because
there is nothing to put in one.
What we never do
- No advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored floors.
- No selling or sharing of data. There is nothing to sell.
- No social network trackers or embedded pixels.
- No accounts, no sign-in, no email collection.
One serious note
This is a joke about replying “K” and leaving one plate to soak. If the question behind it is weighing on you for real, these might help more than a joke can: Fruitful (a Christian devotional, made by a friend of this site), a church near you (Catholic), or someone to talk to (Befrienders Worldwide: free, secular, no strings). None of them pay us, know about this site, or hear anything from it.
